2011 PTA Walk-a-thon
Thursday, April 21st during school

Have fun learning about the beautiful state we live in and supporting our school at the same time. All classes will walk, dance, and groove to music during their walking session. Every student participates with their class and receives a prize and treat even if they don't bring in donations. Students that collect donations have the opportunity to earn some great prizes!

All proceeds help fund PTA sponsored programs and events including technology upgrades, classroom grants, scholarships, assemblies, incentive programs, and many other programs.

If you wish to make a contribution you may do so by sending cash or a check payable to SWE PTA in the envelope provided to each student. You may also donate using a major credit card through PayPal by clicking on the button below (you don't have to have a PayPal account). Please provide the student's name so they get credit for your donation.

Fundraising

The Salem Woods Elementary PTA conducts two major fundraisers each year, one in the fall and one in the spring. Funds raised during these events have paid for many programs that support our students, teachers, staff, and SWE community. A few of the programs recently supported by these funds are; A-Z Reading Street curriculum, field trip scholarships, projectors for each classroom, white boards for each classroom, climbing wall and other playground equipment, musical instruments, and PE equipment.
